Hacksaw Ridge

The movie shows the real life events of Desmond Doss (Andrew Garfield) where he served in the American Army at the “Battle of Okinawa”. It covers Desmond’s spirituality and his beliefs towards non-violence which he stick to during the whole battle, now imagine how a man helped his nation to win a battle without picking up a single weapon and also saved the lives of his fellow troops throughout the battle. This masterpiece directed by “The Braveheart” himself, Mel Gibson is one of my favourite War movies to watch which gives a very touching and an inspiring message. This 2017 Academy Award Nominee will not fail to inspire and entertain you.
The Imitation Game

Another Academy Award nominee, a classic World War II depicting the real life events of Alan Turing, some say he is the actual father of computer. The movie revolves in the Greater Britain where the Britishers declared War against Hitler’s Germany. Winston Churchill ordered to form an elite team of high intellectuals later led by Turing (Benedict Cumberbatch) who would break the German communication called “Enigma”. The code resets every 24 hours with millions of possible outcomes. Turing & company designs a computer which helps them to break the code. The movie comes up with a truth about Turing’s sexuality. The Imitation Game will never disappoint you but will make you more curious and will make your eyes get wide open.
The Pianist
This is a biographical war drama movie displaying series of events Poland faced while Germany invaded them. Germany made all the possible efforts to eradicate Jews from the Polish land. The events happen in 1939 where a Polish-Jew Pianist, Władysław Szpilman (Adrien Brody) hides from the Germans who only have one goal; to extinct the Jewish from the world, Szpilman had went through lot of suffering where…
